What is an AquaSafe HydroComb?

An AquaSafe HydroComb is a flat handheld powerful water sprayer with a comb attached. It is designed to dig into the pleats of a pool or spa cartridge filter and pull out the bugs, vegetation and other debris that accumulates. The flat wide spray acts like a wall to drive out the loosened debris off the pleats.

The AquaSafe HydroComb is easy to use and will save you both time and money when you more thoroughly clean your pool or spa cartridge filter.

Can clean an entire filter in as little as 5 minutes!

Designed for a filter pleat depth of 3/4 to 1-1/4 inch

Instructions for cleaning a filter

1. Before using HydroComb, Spray filter with AquaSafe Filter Cleaner.
2. Attach AquaSafe HydroComb to hosepipe.
3. Set filter onto a solid base, floor, etc.
4. Turn on water and insert brush into filter starting at the top.
5. Work brush and water flow in smooth strokes working your way down the pleats to the bottom of the filter.
6. Pull AquaSafe HydroComb out, rotate the filter about half the brush width and repeat step 4.
7. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until you have made two full cleaning rotations.
